North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity (No: 515195) founded in 1978 by Anne Owen and is largest animal welfare charity in the North Wales. From one thin little Lurcher, we now care for over 1500 domestic pets a year.

We have grown to meet these new demands and with the current economic situation these services are vital for the wider community.

We put on a number of fundraising events and Open Days each year and regularily visit schools and communities to educate on animal welfare.

North Clwyd Animal Rescue is affiliated to theJean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust and we are also members of the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH)

We are located in Trelogan, Flintshire.
