Clean Up Completed as Supporters Rally

Washing bedding and
blankets after the flood
Supporters, using Facebook are organising a relay to bring much needed towels, blankets, duvets and bedding to the rescue  in response to the terrible flooding experienced yesterday.

NCAR appealed for towels, blankets, duvets and bedding for the animals after yesterdays flooding ruined what was in use. If anyone has any spare, please drop them off at the rescue or at one of the Charity Shops.

NCAR would like to thank all the fantastic supporters, staff and volunteers for all the help that they have provided since the flash floods hit the  rescue yesterday.

As Nicky Owen, NCAR's Media Relations Officer said " It was crazy yesterday and at times frightening . I would just like to say a personal thank you to everyone who came and helped clear up after that dreadful weather yesterday. Once again a big thank you to all the volunteers, staff and a very special thanks goes to Lyn who has scrubbed and cleaned out the New Barn so well, it now smells of roses, all the dogs are now happily back in their own beds! Thanks for all the donations of bedding and towels, (this is still needed if anyone can help). The support has been amazing we truly have the best supporters; any charity would would be jealous of such support, so thank you! "
